Richard Carey joined the Delmarva Aces coaching staff in June 2023.

Richard Carey is the current JV Head Coach at Sussex Tech HS and was a star catcher at Penn State Altoona for five years from 2018-22. He played HS at Cape Henlopen HS and was a 2017 alumni of the Aces program. Carey received several accolades as a freshman, including being named ECAC Player of the Week and D3Baseball Team of the Week. He received the 2021 AMCC Sportsmanship Award as well.

He also does private hitting/catching instruction with the program and is the Head Coach of 12U Beach.
