Dmitri Floyd
Dmitri Floyd was the 10th Aces player to move onto college baseball after he accepted a scholarship to play at UMBC. He played with the program’s first showcase team, Mizuno Aces 16U, in 2016 and played two seasons with the Aces. The Dover, DE native has coached with the program each of the last three summers, as he was an assistant coach for DCP Rawlings 2021 National and DCP 2023 National. He brings a lot of knowledge offensively and defensively, where he has served as a base coach and dugout mentor.
The 2017 Dover HS graduate played with the Retrievers from 2018-21, where he logged 156 at-bats in 55 games. He enjoyed his finest season in 2020 when he hit .343 with a 1.023 OPS in 13 games. He would transfer to University of Delaware in Fall 2021, where he joined the Blue Hens behind the plate for his graduate year.
