Christian Murphy joined the Delmarva Aces coaching staff in November 2019. Murphy is an alum of the program, where he was a member of the Mizuno Aces 2017 squad. He played for the team during the 2016-17 year.

The Delmar, Del., played locally for Salisbury University as an OF/P. He committed to play baseball at Chesapeake College out of high school and was a member of their memorable 2019 season, where they nearly went to the NJCAA Division II World Series. He played outfield for the Skipjacks and was an All-Region performer under Head Coach Frank Syzmanski.
