HARMON, SMITHHART IN AS HITTING/FIELDING INSTRUCTORS AT BERLIN LOCATION

The Delmarva Aces are pleased to add two new instructors to their Berlin location with the additions of Dwayne Harmon (Delaware Tech) and Kyle Smithhart (Shenandoah). The pair are both alumni of the Aces program and will help out with academies, coaching, lessons and workouts.

Harmon was a 2017 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. He played two seasons with the Aces as members of Mizuno Aces 17U and Mizuno Aces Upperclass. After HS, he was a standout for Delaware Tech for two years, particularly his sophomore year in 2019. Harmon led the team in games (37) and at-bats (130) in his second year with the Roadrunners. He was also second on the team in hits (34) and third in doubles (7). He was named DTCC Player of the Week after going 4-for-6 in the teams opening series. The Lewes, Del., product will be an assistant coach with DCP 18U Select. He is also going to assist in academies, camps and lessons at the Berlin facility with hitting/fielding instruction.

Smithhart was a 2021 graduate of Mardela High School. He played seven seasons with the Aces from 12U until 18U and was a member of DCP Rawlings 2021 American for two seasons. Smithhart was an absolute beast for the Warriors as a senior, where he hit .722 with a .650 on-base percentage and an .888 slugging percentage. After graduation, he committed to play at Shenandoah University. Smithhart will be an assistant coach with DCP 2025 American. He will help in academies, camps and lessons at the Berlin facility with hitting/outfield instruction.
