ELLIS GAULDEN, LESLIE KENNEDY TO LEAD ACES SPEED & AGILITY THIS OFFSEASON

The Delmarva Aces are pleased to announce that Ellis Gaulden and Leslie Kennedy will run their speed and agility classes this offseason. The classes will take place at the Berlin location on Mondays and Fridays, and in Middletown on Mondays and Thursdays. All speed and agility classes will begin on Monday, November 29th and run until the end of February.

The speed and agility classes are broken down amongst three sessions per night for 45 minutes each. The classes will help the players with running mechanics, high speed change of direction, foot quickness, reaction time and coordination. It is first come, first served on those that show up for the classes. All groups will be capped at 30 participants. Attendance is not mandatory but those committed to attending will surely see improvements in all aspects of their movements.

OUR INSTRUCTORS
Leslie Kennedy – Speed & Agility Director, Aces North (Middletown)
Kennedy was a mainstay at both locations for the speed and agility classes the past two seasons. He will focus specifically on Aces North this year in Middletown, where his upbeat attitude and positive energy will be well liked amongst the northern Delaware families. He played high school baseball at Lake Forest, before playing four years collegiately at Wesley College. He was a middle infielder for the Wolverines and is currently the JV coach at Lake. He has several years of experience with running speed & agility classes and also owns a strength & conditioning certification.

Ellis Gaulden – Speed & Agility Director, Aces Main (Berlin)
Gaulden is currently the Head Track & Field Coach at Cape Henlopen High School. He trains a lot of great athletes, is well respected in the community and has experience running group speed and agility classes on Delmarva. “Coach G” has built a great track program at Cape and dedicates his time to bettering athletes overall speed. Gaulden was a two-sport athlete at the University of Connecticut. He was a wide receiver on the football team and won the Big East High Jump championship in 2005. He is a graduate of Godby High School in Tallahassee, FL.

6:00 – 6:45 PM – (7U-10U)
6:45 – 7:30 PM – (11U-13U)
7:30 – 8:15 PM – (14U-18U)
