SECOND PHASE OF EXPANSION IN BISHOPVILLE SET TO BREAK GROUND ON MONDAY, DEC. 15TH

We are only days away from the commencement of the second phase of our building project in Bishopville!

After a long wait, all permits are finally in hand and the organization will be breaking ground on Monday, Dec. 15th. The second phase includes a new 8,500 sq-foot building, a 2,000 sq-ft roofed outdoor cage, three professional outdoor mounds and 25+ additional parking spots. The process for this second phase started in January 2024 and is the second piece of our Delmarva Aces Baseball Complex.

The new building in this second phase allows the organization to move all hitting into the new area, while opening up space on both sides for multi-purpose open training. The building will have two spaces – the first with four 12×24 batting cages and a massive technology cage for Trackman, Hittrax and velo boards and the second – a wide-open area with rubber multi-purpose flooring. Included in the building will be two bathrooms, a parent lobby and plenty of seating. This will alleviate the traffic of the current building which will have all cages moved out of it to provide an open turf area that gives the program the option for true infield/pitching training. For the outdoor cage, it will have timer lights and a roof – so weather will rarely shut down our training outside. The outdoor cage will include four cages 12×40 in size.

The outdoor dirt mounds will be located next to the current shed on the complex and will have three mounds with dirt/clay. These mounds will be good in size for our young and older players. Lastly, our additional parking will provide over 25 new parking spots on the complex too!
