Austin Heenan
Austin Heenan joined the Aces instructor staff in June 2021.
Heenan is the current Pitching Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for Salisbury University. Under his tutelage, Heenan led the Sea Gulls to the Division III College World Series Championship, after the squad defeated St. Thomas (MN) in the title game. The Nandua HS product assisted in back-t0-back Division III College World Series appearances, as SU went back to the world series in 2022. While at Salisbury, Heenan has coached four All-Americans, one Division III National Pitcher of the Year and one Perfect Game Division III MVP. He coached for several years in the Northwoods League.
He was a left-handed pitcher and excelled as a prep at Nandua High School (VA). After graduation, Heenan attended Virginia Military Institute and pitched for the Keydets. He would eventually transfer to Salisbury, where he was an All-American pitcher for the Sea Gulls.
Heenan now runs Heenan Elite Camps and trains many local pitchers on the Delmarva Peninsula. He will do lessons, academies and camps with the Aces program in Berlin.
