Billy Laird has been a coach with Delmarva Aces since 2015. He became a main instructor with the program in November 2023.

Laird played at Stephen Decatur HS, where he starred as a left handed hitting first baseman for the Seahawks from 2002-05. He accepted a scholarship to play at Delaware Tech and played two seasons with the Roadrunners in 2006-07.

With the Aces, Laird does individual and group hitting instruction, as well as academies and camps. He also coaches two teams with the program currently
