Ryan Seymour

Ryan Seymour was a four-year starter at Smyrna High School and graduated in 2016. During his time at Smyrna, Ryan was a First Team All-State and two-time All-Conference player at second base. He led the Eagles to three playoff appearances, including a run to the state quarterfinal in 2014. He was a participant in Delaware’s Carpenter Cup in 2016. In his senior year, he was also a starter on defense for the Division State Championship foot ball team. After high school, he briefly attended Delaware State University and Cecil Community College on baseball scholarships.

He is currently a paraprofessional at Smyrna Middle School. Ryan has been the SHS varsity assistant baseball coach for the past three seasons, as well as a volunteer assistant for the Smyrna football team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to watch baseball in summer/fall and training athletes in the weight room both in and out of season.
